One Final Lesson

Congratulations! You’ve officially completed the Praxis Teen Entrepreneurship Course. Moreover, as a result of doing the 30-day PDP, you’ve proven to yourself that you have the core skills to successfully embark on YOUR entrepreneurial path.

Here are some important questions to ask yourself as you prepare for the next step:

  1. How have your goals changed as a result of taking this course?
  2. How have you changed as a person?
  3. How do you intend to use this experience as a tool for creating the results that matter most to you?

If you’d like one of our Praxis staff to help you think about these questions more clearly, we’d be happy to help. In fact, our gift to you for completing the course is a free 20-minute coaching session with a Praxis staff member. The purpose of this meeting will be to help you figure out how to apply the course lessons to your specific goals. All you need to do in order to qualify is email us the link to your blog (info@discoverpraxis.com). Once we’ve reviewed your blog and verified your completion of the course, we’ll contact you to schedule your coaching session.

Here’s the final lesson:

Be proud of the fact that you completed this course, but don’t get distracted by the pride you feel for past accomplishments. Finishing things is great. Checking off things on your to-do list is great. Obtaining certificates of completion is great. Graduating courses and programs is great. Having people congratulate you on your success is great. However, there’s something greater than all of those things: it’s your determination to use your past lessons and achievements as leverage for future growth and greater opportunity.

Many people use up all their energy celebrating graduations and course completions, but they fail to realize that success, happiness, and fulfillment are the by-product of creativity, not credentials. Once you stop creating, it doesn’t matter how many credentials you have. However, once you commit to a lifestyle of creative action progress will be a way of life that never ends. Your commitment to ongoing personal development is your greatest asset. Never stop learning. Never stop growing. Never stop challenging yourself. Refuse to settle for anything less than what you’re truly capable of achieving. Take pride in the work that’s behind you, but remain purposeful and passionate in the work that lies ahead.
